Duties will include:
Working on a Global helpdesk, submitting and vetting requests to 3rd parties across the globe as well as local remote tasks.
The will include (but not be limited to):
i) Installation of PC, server or networking equipment as directed
ii) Responding to calls for hardware or software assistance and problem resolution
iii) Maintain & troubleshoot a wide range of client problems in addition to repairing servers and peripheral equipment
iv) Install cables, connections and cross connects to data centre and customer equipment.
i) Experience supporting PC & Server Hardware & Software (Compaq, Dell, Sun etc)
ii) Good knowledge of networks, cabling, switches etc
iii) Previously worked in a busy ticketing environment with ability to prioritise
iv) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This will be a shift based position on a 3 week cycle which will include both day and night shifts.
