A market leading payments company based in Central London has the opportunity for a Technical Project Manager who has extensive Payments experience including working with or for a scheme on HCE/Wallet or Bank app, setting up new issuer or payment processes.

The Technical Project Manager will:

Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a small project or a work stream within a larger project, including, but not limited to:

* Project scope
* Project deliverables
* Project Risk, Issues, Assumption and Dependencies
* Project budget, spend to date and forecast to complete
* Project plan and milestones
* Project resourcing and conflicts
* Project reporting and escalation
* Review deliverables before passing to Programme manager
* Effectively apply the client methodology, process and procedure and enforce project, quality and brand standards
* Prepare for checkpoints and quality reviews
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
* Liaise with internal customers and stakeholders
* Ensure handovers during periods of holiday, sickness, etc are conducted in a timely and effective manner
* Working with the client teams to identify resources needed for a project and provide feedback to their line managers both during and at the end of the assignment
* Working with a programme manager to assign individual responsibilities including management of small projects or activities to support senior management team

The Technical Project Manager must:

* Have strong technical background within Payments
* Worked with or for a scheme on HCE/Wallet or bank app (MasterCard experience is preferred)
* Worked with a scheme on setting up a new issuer or payment processor
* Demonstrate the ability to effectively convey the client position in both written and verbal discussions
* Build experience to enable the running of projects with a budget of up to £500k
* Develop experience of managing 3rd party suppliers and vendors
* Have an understanding of risk management
* Have business analysis experience
