As Technical Architect you lead and participate in the design of complex solution architectures including their mapping to underlying technical architectures, and to Cloud and/or Data Center infrastructure. You relate customer requirements and our customer applications to technical and infrastructure concepts. You drive the implementation teams to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You capture hand-over from Presales according to the agreed hand-over framework and transition relevant architecture design to the different teams (Technology, Consulting) according to our client Technical Architecture Process. You possess a strong knowledge of applications, systems, and infrastructures (Cloud, Virtualization, Network, Storage …) & working knowledge of implementation methodologies and industry frameworks (for example TOGAF Level 1+2, ITIL Foundation) is a strong asset.
Your main responsabilities will include:
Taking full responsibility on the design of the target architecture that meets both customer and our client requirements
Conducting discovery workshops to collect, analyze, clarify, and document technical and business requirements during the technical implementation phase to support the implementation teams by providing the systems, technical integration and infrastructure layout, and requirements for the deployment and integration.
Designing and possibly implementing advanced to complex integrations at customer sites
Performing or supporting advanced or complex prototyping to prove integration or technical capabilities, including on-site support as required.
Understanding, utilizing and communicating standard/best practice methodologies internally and externally.
Working proactively with Systems Engineers and Solutions Architects to strategize on opportunities, cross-training and knowledge transfer.
Acting as project technical lead as assigned.
Scoping and defining work effort, resource plan, and estimating cost on phase/project.
Building a trusted relationship with the Account Executive and client account to provide practical guidance in the functional and technical aspects of proposed software and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Providing timely follow up and communications to consulting team.
Participating in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of our client offerings.
Installing our client solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes.
You hold a Master's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, or a related field.
You can rely on a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following domains: technical sales, systems engineering, technical support and/or applications development.
You must have strong knowledge in a number of technology domains; methodologies, application development, application architecture, technical architecture, infrastructure.
You demonstrate strong facilitation and communications skills, public speaking experience is an asset.
You must have advanced knowledge of architecture, applications, and systems.
You have good problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills.
You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
