Job Description

Main areas of responsibilities on the role will be:
- Interacts with healthcare organizations and authorities, healthcare professionals, clinical investigators, and other healthcare organizations providing fair, balanced, and scientifically rigorous medical and clinical information.

-Meet with healthcare professionals who might be interested in engaging in a scientific discussion regarding a product´s medical and clinical profile in the context of approved prescribing information as well as in response to unsolicited questions or requests for information which may involve off-label information. (Unsolicited means that the information request was neither suggested nor encouraged by the MSL).

-Represent the Medical Department at Local or Regional Medical events (e.g. Medical Congresses and Symposia). They may collaborate in the coordination of pre-event information and communication of post-event summaries.

*Insight Generation & Medical Strategy
-Develop insights related to disease state, unmet medical needs, product value proposition
-Participate in the development of medical and product life cycle strategy
*KOL Management
-Identify and build relationship with KOLs
-Manage KOL / Medical relationships and related internal databases

*Medical & Scientific Communications
-Develop concise and scientifically accurate responses to medical information requests and unsolicited medical queries - pre-launch
-Communicate new clinical trial data and manage continuing medical education
-Participate in the development and implementation of scientific presentation and other activities at local and regional congresses and symposia

*Investigator Initiated / Sponsored Studies (IIS / ISS)
-Participate in the development and implement strategic direction for phase IIIb / V clinical investigations in line with corporate guidelines
-Evaluate proposed IISs / ISSs
-Support IIS / ISS principal investigators and their team in line with corporate guidelines

*Real World Data Development & Management
-Provide support for the generation of real-world evidence - post-launch
-Identify and fill gaps in value proposition

*Contribute to Training Programmes
-Contribute to the training of internal sales, marketing, medical and regulatory affair personnel when and if required
-Review training materials for internal and external stakeholders in line with corporate guidelines


Minimum Skills and Qualification Requirements:

-Degree in Medicine or PhD in the area of the Life Sciences
-Minimum 3 or more years MSL experience required
-Candidates are preferred to possess specialization and/or clinical experience in oncology
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle "cold calls" as well as interactions with specialist physicians and opinion leaders
- Exceptional communication skills that include verbal, written and public presentations
- Ability to comprehend and interpret clinical and pre-clinical data
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Decision-making, proactive problem-solving and accountability
- Ability to identify and facilitate development of external investigators
- Understanding organizational behavior, and academic and corporate culture
- Travelling up to 50% Nationwide and occasionally Internationally
