SOURCING MANAGER - ARIBA - MYBUY - MYCONTRACT

A market leading Pharmaceutical client based in Surrey, has the opportunity for a Sourcing Process Manager with experience with Ariba / MyBuy / MyContract. The role is more of a process-based position, ideally the client wants an Ariba expert who in turn can train up the business and get all staff working compliantly. Procurement have been creating regional procurement functions, this role is looking for that dedicated UK Manager to help navigate through processes and ensure they are up to speed by the time the Audit happens in April 19.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Sourcing Manager owns the Sourcing, and Procurement process within the UK affiliate, working closely with the UK Finance Director to ensure alignment and drive improvement across the wider Procure to Pay process, within the remit set by the EMEA Regional Process Owner for Procure to pay, and the Procurement Leadership team across EMEA.

Specifically:

·Define local Process Design and Roles & Responsibility in alignment to EMEA Policy and Guidelines
·Advise the business across the affiliate in improvements in procurement in order to drive optimal sourcing, purchasing and indirect spend management activities
·Manage Procurement SOP in the Affiliate through appropriate alignment between EMEA/Regional roles (Category Manager, Regional Procurement Lead) and local Business, in order to drive appropriate action planning and drive these to achieve the expected results in terms of indirect procurement
·Work closely with local Finance Business Partnering roles to ensure management of discretionary spend, drive full understanding of the cost base into the Commercial business
·Responsible for management of the local Supplier Base (through appropriate qualifications and evaluations process) and local contract base (myContract) in tight accordance with EMEA and local legal guidelines
·Ensure compliance is considered throughout, and built into the procurement process as appropriate, including third party risk management

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

* Experience in Source to Pay systems, Ariba MyContract and MyBuy
* Procurement experience and in depth understanding of the Category Management process
* Experience in a wide range of Procurement disciplines including Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay
* Career history demonstrates experience in working across functions
* Demonstrated ability to work with and manage senior stakeholders
* Evidence of developing innovative commercial solutions using a wide range of value levers
* Negotiation and contractual skills to ensure that all contract negotiations are conducted effectively
