We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate leader for our client with proven experience in a combination of professional services pre-sales and software delivery including enterprise and global deployments.
Experience with managing teams of sales or professional services focused individuals desired, such as Solution Engineers/Consultants
Prior technical experience with ERP and/or Supply Chain solutions, Salesforce and/or force.com platform
Knowledge of CRM system (SFDC) for team management and opportunity evaluation for defining and assigning the technical teams
Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including alliance, product sales, marketing, operations, finance, legal and senior level executives
Innovative thinker who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling solution proposals
Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations; can gain concessions without damaging relationship; have a "win - win" philosophy
Prescriptive in recommending solution architectures and implementation approach to enhance delivery of solution mapping of the company software portfolio
Basic project management skills for tracking the projects driven by the GS team for timely deliverable and resource requirements
Track record of managing career development plans for teams of individuals
The Director will manage the Digital Global Solution Managers (GSM) and Global Solution Architects (GSA) with primary focus on growing our professional services sales and software orders. This leader will work closely with the sales leadership team in their respective regions - providing strategic input into sales strategy and closure plans.
Responsibilities:
Develop a world-class team focused on meeting the Customer and shareholder objectives
Lead, motivate, mentor, and coach a team of GSMs to solicit new business and/or retain and penetrate existing business in order to drive growth
Team to provide services support to software license sales that meets and exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Establish a baseline of technical and functional capabilities for our GSMs across the Software portfolio to effectively provide implementation delivery solutions, scope and estimates
Manage the process that ensures team members meet the standard and get "certified" to conduct scoping, estimation and proposal/SOW generation
Develop and communicate evolution path for customers from their current state to the target Digital Products and Services
Implement a consistent large Opportunity review process which will empower you and your team to engage and provide insight into the sales team and leadership as part of the core account team. GSMs will lead the implementation and integration services scoping, estimation with the Inquiry to Order teams to ensure success
Lead Global Solutions recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding
Drive key customer facing meetings and events, particularly C level discussions
Directly engage with Regional Leader, Channel Partners and customers in top strategic deals, sales meeting and thought leadership opportunities (e.g. Sales Roadshows and Industry Events).
Input into product development strategy by documenting and sharing customer requirements to product management to guarantee the visibility to support market demands
Implementation Solution Proposals that connect the dots between outcomes, solutions to deliver these outcomes and KPIs/metrics to measure success.
Qualifications/Requirements
10+ years' experience in pre-sales and solutions organizations preferred
5+ years leadership experience
Bachelors or equivalent degree in business or technical equivalent
