*I am currently recruiting for them a Senior Evaluation Scientist to join
their Hard Goods Group in Drug Delivery Systems based in Leicestershire
*The Hard goods group performs drug delivery device development and testing
for a variety of new inhalation product development programs
*The successful candidate would provide the skills to support project team
activity for all aspects of inhalation product development in alignment
with overall business objectives


*Lead key activities for the development and scale up of drug delivery
*Lead method development, equipment procurement and qualification to support
development and scale up activities
*Represent group in product development project teams by providing drug
delivery device expertise
*Generate laboratory, quality and regulatory documentation in accordance
with company guidelines
*Transfer laboratory scale processes to external vendors and operations
*Continually ensure compliance of work with appropriate guidelines and
*Work to ensure compliance with GLP/GMP
*Contribute to the generation and protect Intellectual Property
*Create a safe and invigorating work environment where people are treated
with respect, acknowledged for their achievements and given the opportunity
to develop with the needs of the organisation
*Supervise junior members of staff


*Understanding of component design and manufacture for drug delivery devices
*Analysis and reporting of scientific data
*Safe working practices in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
*Ability to initiate improvements and generate ideas
*Good communication skills with the ability to communicate routinely and
effectively at all times
*Provide a logical and methodical approach to product development activities
*The ability to identify and initiate improvements within area of
responsibility and implement as required
*Ensure appropriate controls are maintained on intellectual property
*Working knowledge of Medical Device Guidelines and Design Controls
*Experience of electronic and software development and testing


*Science or Engineering degree preferred
