Job Description

My Client a global technology company are looking for a Senior Benefits Specialist for their office in Reading but home working 2 days a week if required is an option.

To be successful in this role, the individual in this position will need to excel at project management, benefit and supplier vendor management, drive for operational execution, planning, organising, influencing for impact, customer service, customer advocacy, analytical problem solving, process orientation, verbal and written communications, negotiation and strong collaboration with all internal key stakeholders and external benefit providers are must have assets.

Key Accountabilities:

1.Benefit Supplier Management

·Leads management of flexible benefits vendor within a comprehensive and complex flexible benefits program
·Responsible for successful end to end project management of annual flexible benefits enrolment cycle to drive simplicity, engagement and employee satisfaction, including employee communications, stakeholder training, vendor accountabilities and benefit brokering
·Drives benefits data analytics requirements with benefits vendors in line with agreed requirements

2.Benefit Communication

·As a subject matter expert, work in partnership with UK Communications team and external suppliers create clear, compelling communications and training opportunities for key internal stakeholders and employees to relation to benefit implementations, changes, enhancements or refresh reminders with the objective of providing clear understanding of relevant benefits offering across UK geography
·Build capability, clarity and understanding of comprehensive flexible benefits program and platform with key stakeholders to drive effective management of process management to enable an effective employee experience
·Ensure HR web and relevant benefits collateral are reviewed and updated
·Drives resolution of relevant escalated benefit program issues in collaboration with partners in HR, Staffing, HR Services, Finance, Procurement, Payroll and Legal and additional stakeholders where required

3.Benefit and Vendor Compliance

·Management of existing supplier compliance requirements, for example SSPA process and GDPR requirements. Ensure vendors and suppliers comply in full with all requirements in relation to annual recertification
·Ensure compliance in relation to contractual requirements, including annual review and update of SOW for agreed benefit vendors. Partner with key internal stakeholders and vendors to agree deadlines and timescales to an agree SLA, with an agreed process for issue escalation management
·Responsible for management of vendor invoicing process, aligning to policy requirements
·Proactive review of regulatory/statutory benefit provisions and make program changes to ensure compliance and appropriate communication plan to relevant stakeholders and employees

·Demonstrable subject matter knowledge of UK benefits plans and programs including legislation and compliance requirements and proven track-record in management of UK pension auto-enrolment
·Demonstrable strong project management skills with end to end responsibility and ownership
·Excellent analytical skills
·Strong problem-solving skills
·Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritise an ever-changing workload
·Demonstrable experience of benefit vendor and supplier relationship management, in particular flexible benefits, retirement and company car/cash allowance plans
·Responsible for the tactical deliverables, including creation and maintenance of SOW and vendor SLAs, working in partnership with benefit providers to define and achieve service level agreements in line with requirements for an agreed portfolio of benefit insurers, vendors and suppliers
·Demonstrable individual accountability to drive issues to resolution with benefit vendors to successful outcome
·Good commercial judgement, balancing cost efficiencies and benefits structuring to optimize maximum value for the Company and employees
·Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office PowerPoint skills

Education and Experience:

Proven track-record of effective benefit vendor management and lead project management including end to end management of flexible benefits and UK benefit providers and vendors is required. Demonstrated UK employee benefits management in similar matrixed, international, commercial environment. BS/BA degree, or equivalent required. CIPD Qualified, preferred.
