BUSINESS ANALYST - RETAIL BANKING - AGILE

If so, such a company has the current vacancy for a Business Analyst with a strong Retail Banking experience to join them on a permanent basis in their offices near London Victoria.

Essential skills/expertise

·Business analysis, problem solving, issue tracking and resolution
·Understanding of retail bank processes
·Experience of Agile delivery using Scrum
·Proven track record as an Agile Business Analyst within a digital delivery environment
·Highly experienced in requirement elicitation, writing epics and user stories with acceptance criteria using BDD
·Experience working closely with UX and translating wireframes (and other artefacts) into user stories
·Familiarity with agile estimating (story points), sprint planning, backlog refinement & sprint retrospectives
·User flow or process mapping skills
·Workshop design and facilitation
·People and stakeholder management and communications

Responsibilities

Overall

Work as part of an Agile and multifunctional team. To identify and document requirements for development.

Planning

·Develop sprint workplans for getting things "ready" to hand over to the technology build team, working closely with the squad Product Owner

·Outline high level user flows and/or process steps to achieve the user goals. Identify initial design questions and highlight where engagement is required with other stakeholders (e.g. SMEs, partners, technology, etc.)

Designing

·Writing individual stories and acceptance criteria that is clear, concise, easy to understand for implement by the development team

·Identifying related user stories and epics, grouping them into themes as necessary and documenting the interrelationship, dependencies and associated business process flows as necessary.

·Identify and assess the relevant regulations, policies and standards that apply to the user flows and processes. Design controls and business rules to implement the requirements as described in these regulations, policies and standards

·Identify 3rd party services that may improve the proposition, working with the Partnerships and Technology teams as appropriate

·Define process use cases for data and analytics capabilities to automate decision making; enable controls and business rules; and support oversight

·Ensure user flows, process flows and associated designs are consistent across customer and colleague propositions

·Facilitate SME discussions where needed

·Work with technology team to produce sequence diagrams and identify required technical user stories

Reviewing

·Prepare "service blueprint" to present designs

·Reviews artefacts with SMEs and capture feedback

·Presents final deliverables to SMEs, Product Owners and/or relevant governance forums for sign off

·Track associated risks, issues, dependencies for squad
