Description:

I am currently looking to hire an experienced Medical Affairs professional for a Leading Medical Role over Baltic Region. Current role is exclusively available via Volt Europe and this is with very fast expanding multi-therapeutic portfolio pharma company.
This role will suit an MD qualified, ambitious and dynamic Medical Affairs professional who might be interested to advance their career to the next level.
On this role you will report to Head of Medical Affairs Northern Europe and will assume line management and medical projects leadership responsibilities in assigned region.

Areas of Responsibility:
- Support the Nordic Medical Head with development and implementation of Global Medical Plans in focus disease areas at a Baltic level
- Within designated disease areas, systematically lead identification of the scientific exchange needs of Key Opinion Leaders, investigators and other stakeholders in patient care, establish strong professional relationships and provide credible scientific expertise
- Lead the design and implementation of best-in-class scientific programs with external KOLs, investigators and Global Medical Affairs and Global Clinical partners
- Lead specific projects per the Global Medical Plan
- Manages, tracks and oversees utilization of Country/Country Cluster medical budget in focus disease areas at a Baltic level
- Oversee and directly participate in responding effectively to requests for scientific exchange - As delegated by the Nordic & Baltic Medical Head, serve and the Medical representative on cross-functional local and Global teams
- Support local team disease area and product knowledge through scientific training
- Maintain personal and medical team expertise in relevant disease areas and Medical best practices
- Develop and implement Global Medical Plans in focus disease areas at the Baltic level
- Systematically lead identification of the scientific exchange needs of KOLs, investigators and other stakeholders in patient care, establish strong professional relationships, and provide credible scientific expertise
- Leading the design and implementation of best-in-class scientific programs with external KOLs, investigators and Global Medical Affairs and Global Clinical partners
- Manage effectively requests for scientific exchange across Region

Experience and Qualification Requirements for the role:

- MD Qualification or PharmD higher degree level

- 3 to 5 years or more experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research in Bio-pharmaceutical setting is required

- Experienced in design and support of clinical research studies
- Experience in design and delivery of local/regional medical education programs
- Can do attitude and initiative is required
- Ability to travel across region and internationally
- Fluent English verbal and written
