Our client who is a leading design and manufacture of critical safety equipment are currently in a position to expand and wish to add to the Quality Engineering Team. The business has been established for over 60 years and is at the forefront of its market.
The key responsibilities for the Quality Engineer are:
·Implement, control and ensure Quality Tools are applied, which meet agreed customer contractual requirements
·Understanding of R-R Quality requirements (SABRe, GS3001, RRES90009).
·To implement Quality Tools which demonstrate effective Quality Control for in-house Manufactured / Purchased parts (MSA, FOD, FAIR, and LAIR).
·Carry out inspections of WIP and documentation to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
·To support quality control activities including calibration, mechanical inspection and vendor rating activities.
You will also be required to support the Quality Manager to ensure compliance to the QMS and contract. It's important to be able to communicate effectively current status and opportunities for process improvement.
