Job Description

Project Manager to work for a successful international recruitment solutions company. Responsible for delivering continuous process improvements end efficiencies, including MSP/VMS (Managed Service Provider and Vendor Management System) implementations and enhancements, technology improvements (software releases and upgrades) working for our Head of PMO and liaising closely with IT.
Some of the responsibilities include:
To plan and develop project plans (including milestones and delivery dates), business rules, project specifications and all communication materials in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
To direct and implement an effective project and to manage the transition from Implementation to Operations.
To liaise with users and development resources for testing.
To organise training of users and coordinate the production of user training manuals.
To undertake the required post-implementation evaluations to measure the success of the project.
To lead internal and external project/implementation meetings and conference calls.
To coordinate meeting schedules, produce agenda, take minutes and distribute and follow up on action points where necessary.
To work in conjunction with other stakeholders to collect and document requirements during the "Discover" phase of a project.
To provide consultancy to the customer (internal or external) on the management of a required project.
To monitor the overall performance of the relevant operations during the transition phase and to develop continuous improvement recommendations and plans with functional managers.
To act as the direct contact between the client and Volt personnel on all matters impacting the implementation of a project or program.
For MSP implementations and in conjunction with the Supplier Relations Specialist, to ensure that suppliers are contracted to the program (this will include the enrolment of new and additional suppliers as necessary).
To support the operational team during the go-live period and to provide additional hands on resource as necessary.
To produce and develop all project documentation to ensure the project goal is achieved and that all processes and procedures are established to enable operational teams to exceed SLA's and, where necessary, comply with contractual agreements.
To ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate and filed on a timely basis and that filing systems are maintained in an appropriate manner.
To manage work commitments, deliverables and timelines within the developed project plans and to manage weekly objectives with the customer. To lead the direction of action steps for future activity.
To produce documentation, including spreadsheets and process flows, from scratch and to update and analyse existing documentation and data.
To input data into databases as necessary as and when required.
To produce monthly and ad hoc reports as and when requested, ensuring that the format is consistent and the data correct.
To assist with the production of client presentations and other documentation required for meetings, presentations and forums and to attend as required.
Experience required
Previous recruitment industry experience and project management skills are desirable, coupled with experience of providing a professional customer-focused service. Good administration and fast, accurate keyboard skills are essential.
Ideally degree educated, a project management qualification (preferably PMI), change management and/or Six Sigma experience are advantageous. An eye for detail with the ability to effectively prioritise, organise tasks, manage time and meet deadlines in an environment with competing demands. Able to multi task and work at pace. Pays attention to quality & detail, and is process orientated, logical and practical. Accepts that travel between client locations/Volt offices and time spent away from home during the working week (especially prior to/following a client implementation) are necessary parts of the job.
