Role and responsibilities
The principal areas of responsibility are
Monitoring and reporting site headcount and maintaining standing payroll data
-Tracking and reporting the variable pay elements for the sites 350 heads, comprising:
Maintaining the time and attendance system for the sites staff including holidays, absence etc.
-Monitoring and reporting of agency hours
-Support of the finance team in preparing associated accruals
Other ad hoc tasks to support the UK finance team. The role reports to the Payroll Manager.

Experience and skills required
·GCSE Maths at grade C or above / or equivalent qualification
·Good at building effective cross-functional relationships.
·Experience in a large company environment with strong procedures and internal controls
·Accustomed to short deadlines and complex reporting lines
·Experience in a dynamic business.
·Prior payroll experience
·Kellio clocking experience
·Great customer service
·Comfortable with a complex matrix organisation with multiple reporting lines leading to multiple priorities.
·Good at building effective working relationships, within team and with rest of business.
