Job Description

Paralegal
Due to expansion we are looking for a Paralegal to join our small but highly effective legal team. Volt is a leading global recruitment company. Volt's Redhill office is part of a $1Billion operation with customers and offices all around the world. The role will involve supporting the business with legal advice and research as well as undertaking contract reviews, negotiation and analysis. The role is hugely varied. Probably 2 days will never be the same. But as a flavour of what is involved will encompass commercial contracts, employment law, litigation, property law, some Company Secretarial work and some international law encompassing tax and social security.
Candidates will need to be a law graduate who has completed an LPC (Legal Practice Course) or a BVC (Bar Vocational Course) or equivalent in another jurisdiction and have gained some experience of working in a commercial environment.
Fluency in French, would be preferred in order to effectively support our offices in France and Belgium and Flemish language skills would be especially useful.
We are based in modern open plan offices close to the train and bus station in Redhill. What attracts a lot of people to Volt is the working environment - a number of people have described it as the friendliest company they have worked at. The company encourages a caring culture and we have regular charity fundraising events and are given a day a year that we can use to support the charity of our choice. There are various benefits including 5 weeks holiday, pension and healthcare.
