NETWORK - TDA - CISCO - JUNIPER - PALO ALTO- F5 -

Our client, a global market leader, has the exciting opportunity for a Network Technical Design Architect (TDA) to join them on a permanent basis.

This role is home based but you would need to be located to enable you to visit the HQ in Surrey at short notice (3 hrs commute max)

Role Summary

The Network TDA is responsible for designing fit for purpose Network Solutions to support the business objectives of the client and its extensive customer base. Network TDA's are required to collaborate with business stake-holders and customer representatives to understand and translate business requirements, into appropriate technical solutions to meet both business and commercial needs.

Candidates are expected to have demonstrable, large-scale Network Architecture experience, combined with good consulting skills and an understanding of how network technologies impact on and are impacted by other IT infrastructure technologies. Candidates should have in excess of two years real-world Network Design experience.

Essential Experience/Skills

Key technical skills include:

*Routing & Switching (Cisco or Juniper)
*Firewall Solutions ( Palo Alto, or Juniper)
*Load Balancing (F5)
*Must have very strong Network Design experience

Candidates will be expected to have demonstrable senior experience, and will likely be working towards achieving a CCIE or similar accreditation, and may possess a combination of the following:

*Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP
*Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE
*Cisco CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE
* Have a good standard of General Education.
*Hold Current SC Clearance (or candidate will be submitted for, and expected to attain Security Clearance (SC) classification). This means a minimum of 5 years working experience within the UK.

Desired Experience/Skills:

*WAN (MPLS, CPE & Exchange design)
*Candidates with specialisms in Network Security, Cisco UCS or with experience in the design of large scale WAN/ISP environments are of particular interest.
*Any exposure to Cisco Wireless, Avaya CM, Cisco UC, Lync & Lync Enterprise Voice and SIP Reference Architectures would be of benefit.
