Network Architect| Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire
CCNP/ CCDP, Cisco, Juniper, Network Design, F5 product range

I am currently recruiting for a leading financial organisation who urgently requires an experienced Network Architect.
The network architect role works closely with the strategy teams, solutions architects and PM's to provide quality high level network designs in response to new business opportunities and change to the existing network infrastructure. Whilst ensuring the designs align to the overall business and network strategy.

Key accountabilities
* Produce high level design documentation in a standard format
* Produce Project Design Documents (PDD's) as appropriate
* Ensure the network strategy is defined and understood
* Take requirements from inception through to completion
* Perform an overall oversight and accountability role on behalf of Network Services through all elements of the Project / Service Delivery Life-cycle (Design, Build, Implementation, Test, Handover, and Warrantee).
* Ensure a smooth transition between Network Architecture, Build and Run
* Assume a key supplier role at all stages of the SDLC
* Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
* Remain current in terms of new and evolving technologies
* Be the network authority in terms of new network services
* Be familiar with change in other areas of the overall business
* Provide network consultancy to the business
* Provide accurate and quality bids in response to new business
* Work closely with 3rd party suppliers and partners to help build reliable and secure solutions for our customers
* Understand and develop the network capacity reporting so current and future capacity needs are fully understood
* Provide service improvement recommendations into the network services manager

Key Technical Skills / Experience required for this role are:
* CISCO, Juniper and F5 product range and technologies
* Network Design
* Network Support
* Network Security
* Proven experience in a network support role
* A Cisco expert with proven experience in a demanding design role
* 3+ years' experience in a demanding, high availability environment
*The individual will be required to be security cleared as part of their conditions of employment
