Network Analyst - Bracknell - £40 - £50 per hour - 12 Month Contract

Our client, a Global company is seeking a Network Analyst to be based in Bracknell on an initial 12 Month Contract.

Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Network Analyst will be an active member of the Global Network Security team, responsible for the support of the global UTM, remote access and cloud security environment. In this role the analyst will support Check Point UTMs, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ASA VPNs and Cisco Cloud Web Security.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Support Check Point UTMs, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ASA VPNs and Cisco Cloud Web Security
* Support/Participate/Coordinate large network refresh projects.
* Determine client/user requirements.
* Assist/create procedural manuals and documents as needed.
* Maintain expertise in assigned area to fulfil position goals and objectives.
* Manage products throughout their lifecycles.
* Participate/run weekly service review meetings with clients/vendors.
* Participate in an on call rotation for 2 week each month.

Requires skills and Experience:
*Must have strong Checkpoint experience and have both CCSA and CCSE qualifications.
* Experience configuring, implementing, and/or troubleshooting Check Point security devices.
* Experience supporting network technologies LAN Switching/Routing
* Experience supporting routing protocols and network design
* Experience participating in network projects and local area network design.
* Experience managing projects
* Experience using Visio or comparable tool for documenting network design
* Ability to work with individuals from different technical and personality backgrounds to resolve problems.
* Ability to work with global co-workers
* Experience participating in network projects and local area network design.

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Works with client to analyse and define the business process that needs an IT solution. Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the solution, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.

Responsibilities: Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the IT solution. Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.
