Calibration Engineer

Overview

Within a world leading aerospace company, the Test Engineer (calibration) will be involved in all aspects of moving a calibration department from one site to a new purpose built facility whilst keeping calibration supply to test projects on track and introducing new equipment and improving processes.

Role responsibilities

Responsible for asset care, movement and improvement of fuel system test calibration equipment and processes.
To include:
Input and ownership of a new calibration control room learning from the current calibration room, ensuring standards are set, calibration system is managed,review and improve procedures and training, ensure tooling processes and methods are in place and improved.

Equipment calibrated includes: Pressure transducers, flow meters, thermocouples, data aquisition hardware, testboxes and spares.

Previous experience required

You must be a mechanical engineer with experience of process improvement and controlling calibration within preferably within aerospace, automotive or similar.
