This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that takes responsibility for commissioning the multi-million pound engine test facility, which has world-class performance, emissions and mechanical validation capabilities. Team members interact with the wider facilities team as well as other departments within the Industrial Power Systems Development area.
Day to day you will cover repair of equipment and the installation and commissioning of new facilities, you will be considered to be a subject matter expert in one or more of the following discipline; PLC, electrical, BMS (ownership), Quality documentation (17025 compliant).
You will have come from a full apprenticeship and/or be qualified to NVQ level 3.
You will be qualified to BS 7671:2008 IEE 17th Electrical Regulations and also have a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
A demonstrable knowledge and Hydraulic systems, fabrication and welding, instrumentation calibration will all be advantageous.
