We have a new exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer to report into our Chief Strategist, responsible for developing machine learning methods, systems and techniques with focus initially on specific projects within Race Strategy and Race Engineering.
Responsibilities will include:
·Develop models to predict tyre degradation and track change effects, based on a number of input parameters from all data systems (car data, GPS, weather, historic data).
·Use social media searches and GPS data pattern matching to enhance our understanding of competitor updates and performance.
·Develop pre-race and live race strategy models, accurately modelling competitor decisions and reactions.
·Develop new pattern matching data analysis methods to review live car data, and find problems relative to plant models, or baseline models (sensor issues, incorrect data, and genuine problems).
·Centralise car setup and driver information into one database, and find car setup patterns and trends.
·Determine patterns for competitor performance trends from historic data.
·C#, Python / Matlab programming
·Supervised and unsupervised Machine learning methods
·Knowledge and experience with clustering and Bayesian networks
·A Masters level degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Computer Science etc.).
