Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer - Mechanical/Electrical to carry out investigations.

Role
* Technically lead the investigation of pressure sensor failures for the harsh environments associated with the aerospace industry. Provide support to our sensor returns process engineers as required.
* Design Change Initiation and implementation in accordance with Configuration Control procedures to agreed customer requirements.
* Manufacturing technical support and provide solutions for production related design problems.

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
* Strong people and time management skills
* Familiar with Design Change Initiation and Configuration Control requirement's that are essential for the Aerospace environment.
* Experience with PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
* Knowledge of EMC performance and requirements
* Proven ability in low power analogue and mixed signal circuit analysis
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Software packages (Word, Excel, Power point etc)
* Work in a multi-disciplinary team across functions at all levels
* Work to deadlines and respond effectively to demanding customer requests.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills with customers and team members


* Knowledge of the Aerospace Industry, standards (DO160 & MIL-STD-810) and practises
* Experience of pressure transducers and compensation techniques
* Knowledge of Mechanical principles
* Experience within a similar, high variety, electro-mechanical environment
* Six Sigma Greenbelt trained and certified
* Familiarity with IPC standards for PCB design and fabrication.
