Senior LCMS Scientist leading organisation with a fantastic reputation and friendly team. This company is a specialist company within global energy and environmental.
The role will be to ensure the delivery of high quality results for projects, working to strict deadlines, as well as supporting other members of staff as and when requested.
·Demonstrable experience of a range of sample preparation techniques, including liquid: liquid extraction and solid phase extraction
·A high degree of flexibility will also be required to deal with the varied matrices and compounds required for testing
·Experience working within an environmental testing laboratory analysing for trace levels of a range of environmental contaminants in difficult matrices would be highly advantageous.
·Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment in line with GxP regulations
·Able to demonstrate the capability as well as experience of developing LCMS methods/applications from concept through to validation to final delivery.
·BSc in Chemistry subject or equivalent
·Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and its practical application
·Good understanding of GMP/GLP
·Demonstrable experience of conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of HPLC, IC, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS systems.
·Method development with LC/MS
·Experience of mentoring/training/coaching other members of staff
