You will be working within the Operations Team. You will work both on site and remotely.
As IT Deployment Service Engineer you are responsible for:
*The preparation, analysis, installation, configuration and optimization of the products according the issues quality procedures, within existing customer set-ups or new installations.
*Executing, implementing and monitoring all assigned responsibilities within the project team
*Adequately fixing or reporting issues and messages to the client during the different project phases.
*Performing preventive maintenance and technical follow-ups with customers.
*(Remotely) installing, configuring, restoring and adapting the systems at the customer site.
*The solution should cooperate and communicate with clients and other members of the BeLux team (Operations - Support - Project Management - (Pre-) Sales).
*Reporting accurately and registering your activity.
*Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members or with customers.
You will be part of a team consisting of 12 persons both Application Specialists and IT Deployment Service Engineers and will be reporting directly to the Operations manager Belux.
*You have a bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
*You have several years of IT experience as a IT Deployment Service Engineer.
*You have a thorough knowledge of and experience in relational databases including Oracle and MS SQL.
*You are familiar with the MS Windows operating systems in a client-server environment. Experience with Unix is an asset.
*You have a good basic knowledge about networking, TCP / IP, routing, and its structure.
*You are familiar with Storage solutions such as SAN and NAS.
*You have knowledge of the healthcare standards like DICOM and HL7 or are willing to acquire this knowledge.
*You have some experience with VB scripting, IIS, HTML, XML.
*You are very customer focused.
*You have strong communication skills.
*You have strong analytical skills.
*You can cope with stress and work independently.
*You work accurately and structured.
*You are flexible and willing to participate in our 24/7 guard duty.
*You will travel frequently and work regular on different customer locations in our region.
*You speak fluent French, Dutch & English.
