The Regional Clinical Training Executive is accountable to manage and ensure the flawless interaction and exchange between the Global Training & Medical teams and the local FCS teams in the individual affiliate countries as well as in close cooperation with the clinical training resources for distributing partner countries. He / She has to ensure and monitor the execution and standardization of the clinical training activities for internal and external stakeholders on the defined Aesthetic portfolio and brands (Injectables & Medical devices) within the EMEA region taking local needs, requirements and cultural diversities into account. In addition, he / she inputs on the development of global clinical training strategies and key activities in order to achieve clinical excellence in the assigned territory aligned with our global training strategy.
*Manage Field Clinical Specialists in a day to day capacity by setting and measuring goal accomplishment, mentoring and providing direction, and supporting and escalating customer needs for the EMEA region.
*Act as the primary liaison with the field sales & marketing organization and the FCS team for the clinical training program: support the local team in their efforts to meet the needs of accounts and/or potential customers
*Assess and identify training needs internally and externally and help develop appropriate training programs to address knowledge gaps identified by the analysis.
*Keep the training force in the EMEA territory up to date in close cooperation with global functions.
*Collaborate with the Global Training teams to produce and distribute Clinical Training resources for the field and conduct clinical trainings as needed
*Provide direction related to how clinical training is conducted and scheduled within new accounts
*Monitor account-based training requirements to ensure adequate support is provided and installations are being expedited by the team to meet the field needs
*Ensure the team is up-to-date on best clinical practices and monitor developments in the markets with a view to providing innovative world class education plans.
*Participate and lead projects as the leader of the EMEA training team in conjunction with other field management as well as corporate departments
*Partner and collaborate with senior members of the Clinical Training teams to produce additional programs, ideas and clinical information that may be leveraged to advance the use of the product
Experience and qualifications:
*MD (physician) qualification required
*Minimum of 5 years of clinical field training or clinical field leadership in medical device and / or pharmaceutical industry required.
*Clinical experience in Aesthetic Medicine preferred
*Extensive healthcare customer (physicians, nurses, practice specialist) experience required
*Excellent project management - the ability to manage multiple and complex projects & deliver to deadlines
*Strong presentation and training skills required
*Strong understanding of corporate, clinical and regulatory processes
*Experience in / knowledge of aesthetics preferred
*Position requires frequent international travel to all affiliate countries as well as periodically DPB countries
