Business Analyst with an in-depth understanding of Insurance Data is required for an Insurance Consultancy in The City of London.
Daily rate - up to £450
Contract length - 6 months + extension
Your responsibilities will be to provide business critical DATA Business Analysis in a Solvency II work steam, so you'll be a solid Data BA, and will have knowledge of Finance or Quantitative Reporting Templates and an effective documentation and advisory function experience - all within Insurance companies.
You'll have the usual Business Analysis skills coupled with excellent knowledge of Data requirements - hopefully gained at London Markets Insurers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Data Analysis and Business Analysis
Eliciting requirements for business critical enhancements.
Creating Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications and/or Business Requirements Documents as appropriate.
Modelling "as is" and "to be" business processes focusing on the end-to-end "to be" process and covering all the integration and interface points as well as any manual processes.
Reviewing requirements with the Business and obtaining formal acceptance from the Project Sponsor.
Supporting the development, testing and user acceptance activities through regular liaison with Business Subject Matter Experts, Department Heads, Information Systems Test and Development teams and technology partners.
Providing regular updates on progress to Senior Management.
Your Key Skills will include:
At solid background of Data analysis and Business Analysis in London Markets Insurers and specific Solvency II, Finance or QRT experience would be highly beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation from end users through department heads to senior management.
Ability to communicate effectively, assertively and comfortably with stakeholders.
Flexible, well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
