GRADUATE TEST AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

A highly reputable Formula 1 client of ours based in the Midlands are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Test and Development Engineer who has a passion for Motorsport but also drive and determination to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

+ You will be involved in all development projects assigned to you
+ Accountability of characterisation and measurement activities, including rig maintenance, rig development, program planning, test execution and report generation.
+ Reparation and execution of other test and development tests as required, including single-axis, 12-axis, 3/2-axis, spinning rigs etc.
+ Create reports and distribute across the company ensuring they are clear, concise and accurate.
+ Assist the Technical Team Leader and head of dept. with high level meetings, summarised reports, leading a project team and resource management of hardware.
+ Ensure all departmental calibrations are maintained and data quality is at the highest level.
+ Act as a liaison between the project owner and the test and development centre.
+ Ownership of key quality measurement systems metrics
+ Continually update health and safety policies and identify areas of improvement
+ Maintain and operate the feedback system when required.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Engineering degree with placement experience in Motorsport or another high level related industry e.g. aerospace.
+ Highly self-motivated individual who is also a great team player
+ Positive attitude to achieving tight deadlines
+ Creative thinker who is able to come with innovative ideas and address these with the wider projects team
