Job Description

Reports to: Head of Global Medical Affairs Oncology

Key areas of responsibilities:
*Support relationship development with expert leaders, investigators, and speakers;
*Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for expert engagement and compensation;
*Manage and develop sponsorships with scientific societies (eg ESMO);
*Support the planning and execution of congress symposia;
*Support affiliates in their expert relationship development and medical communication plans;
*Support expert meetings and advisory boards;
*Hands on involvement in strategic development and day-today management of matrix teams responsible for the pre- and post-launch activities of oncology
*Provide support to the Medical Affairs and Clinical Development team which may include, but is not limited to, reviewing the protocol for feasibility, giving guidance as to anticipated enrolment, and general advice as to the various risks associated with running a particular study
*Serve as a go-to scientific resource, and participating in strategic business development activities including investigator meetings, Congresses and satellite symposia
*Determining the scientific content strategy and ensuring the consistency of the 'story-telling' throughout the promotional materials
*Supervision of scientific presentation material development such as posters, abstracts and PowerPoint for congresses / satellite symposia and Standalone meeting

Qualifications and Experience requirements:

*Medical Degree or an Advanced Scientific education (eg, Pharm D, MD or PhD)
*10 years' or more experience in Pharma industry, including minimum 5 years in International teams (either Regional or Global experience)
*Robust experience and knowledge in Oncology/Hematology (eg in lymphoma) is expected;
*Typically, the management of relationships with Cooperative groups and scientific societies; and an effective scientific and collaborative relationship with the thought leaders and HCPs in the therapeutic area.
