Our client represents one the leading brands of an automotive major company in Belgium and Luxemburg.
The company is specialized in the distribution and maintenance management of an automotive major company.
It offers its customers first class service concepts in the field of sales, maintenance management, rental & remarketing of equipment, as well as smart financing and optimization of the Total Cost of Ownership. They focus to serve their clients in the best possible way during the entire lifecycle of its products.
The ICT department takes care of the day-to-day availability of the ICT & Telecom infrastructure in which cost effectiveness and 24/7 availability are the key success factors. Also the department looks after user support and application management of all business-critical applications, in such a way that all applications are constantly updated and maintained to assure optimal support of the business processes.
Together with the management in Sales, Service and the Staff departments they focus on continuous improvement on the effectiveness of the processes to assure the highest service levels.
The job is focused on management and execution of functional application management of the ICT Architecture and Infrastructure, i.e. ERP system and add-ons, application suite, telecom installations and specific software and the operational system management and support of the ICT (laptops) & Telecom (Cell phones) in the region Belgium & Luxembourg.
The jobholder is responsible for the assurance of availability of the ICT & Telecom systems and the adequate response and clearance of user requests. To assure availability he will also be responsible for the planning, execution and follow-up of system maintenance and development.
The jobholder, in his role of key user, is an expert in the field of all applicable work processes and procedures in his area. He provides a helicopter view in order to identify, develop and implement process improvement opportunities to assure continues improvement in his area of responsibilities.
Bachelor Degree (Application Management and or ICT infrastructure).
Minimum of 7 years work experience of which at least 2 in a comparable role.
Minimum of 5 years work experience in automotive, construction or comparable technical oriented industry.
Knowledgeable on project management.
Goal driven and focus on continues improvement of processes and procedures.
Powerful implementation and execution skills.
Good knowledge of the Dutch, English and French language.
Willingness to travel in the Benelux and supporting the African network.
