Job Description

Sales Engineer
Derbyshire
£25-35k + car, phone, healthcare, pension

Joining this specialist materials handling integrator at an exciting time of growth you will take responsibility for the consultative sales process.

Working within a focused and small team you will utilise your experience within the sales of capital equipment and integrated machinery to develop initial enquiries through to secured orders within the automated manufacturing or distribution environments.

Working closely with the Sales Engineer and Sales Director you will provide the client onsite support for site survey and detailing project requirements, then with proposals you will formulate, design and cost complex conveyor or materials handling systems providing a cost effective solution for the customer.
Preparing detailed quotations, inclusive of fully CAD modelled layouts you will continue customer liaison through project delivery.


Candidate
With some experience operating within the sales cycle for capital equipment, this is an ideal position for you as a Junior Sales Engineer to develop in a focused environment. With fundamental mechanical engineering appreciation; gathered through an apprenticeship or qualifications and some familiar with CAD systems you will draw upon your outgoing and calm persona.

You will have a consultative and professional approach, be capable of working on your own initiative and hold a full clean driving licence.

Using your exemplary presentation skills and your relationship building capability you will demonstrate where you have effectively managing long lead time consultative sales to industry specialists.
