Embedded Software Developer

Job location: Center of Brussels
Start Date: ASAP
Languages: English (fluent), any other European language is a plus

For our partner, we are currently seeking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer. Active in AI, data science & machine learning, this young start-up is willing to find a software engineer that will work on the device they propose to their clients.

Your responsibilities:

As a member of the development team, you will have to collaborate with several other internal teams.

Your main duties will be to:

·Design, develop and maintain firmware and embedded software for their connected devices.
·Work on further optimising connectivity, power consumption & system resilience.
·Proceed to unit, functional and regression testing.
·Monitor assets in the field and perform troubleshooting and debugging
·Further develop and maintain tooling
·Interact and manage external contractors for specialised task

You must have:

·At least 3 years of experience in embedded systems development (ARM, MCU/CPU), preferably in the field of wireless sensors and IoT devices.
·Expert in C and Python programming.
·Affinity with kernel development, Yocto framework, WiFi communication, CAN protocols or willing to learn them
·Result driven
·Fluent in English.
