EC&I Engineer £40-£45 k + car allowance and further benefits

Our Client a unique electrical utility company is looking for an Electrical Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineer to carry out electrical design duties for a unique programme, for varying industrial clients. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical design work within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
A good, practical understanding of operational plant and control systems is essential. As well as experience in Schneider PLC SoMachine Basic and SoMachine, relay logic and Modbus & Profibus protocols, which will include management and programming - this will include the ability to write bespoke logic per project.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams and perform PLC control level issue diagnosis. Previous experience of on-site working is a must.
Responsibilities:
*You will have previous experience carrying out detailed EICA design within a multi-disciplinary team environment including interpreting and create SLDs & mechanical control drawings
*Make sure all projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
*Testing installations and systems, and analysing data.
*Liaise with Clients and Contractors to identify opportunities and develop business relationships.
*Undertake initial feasibility and scoping, through design to procurement which includes estimating material, construction, and labour cost against project timescales.
*Provide technical support to completion, final handover and during operation of the project.
*Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers, stakeholders and third parties to ensure successful project delivery - coordinating and monitoring sub-contractors.
*Hands on fault finding on site and in office.

Essential Requirements:

Due to the nature of the role a valid driving licence is essential and as the post will work across a number of sites in the region, as well as flexibility to work out of hours' when necessary.
*Control system working experience in Schneider SoMachine Basic and SoMachine.
*ONC, OND, HNC, HND, or a full engineering apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Installation.
*Own or have access to a vehicle.
*Previous experience working on large industrial sites.
