Environmental,Health and Safety Coordinator

Working within a world leader of innovative products performing EHS tasks for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

*To manage the incident management programme
*To co-ordinate the site training plan
*To co-ordinate the site risk assessment programme
*To manage and issue site EHS statistics
*To manage Occupational Health awareness campaigns
*To support the engagement program on site
*To support the EHS Team where required

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Incident Management
Management incident reporting system for the Loughborough site
Update incident database with reports and actions
Track actions to completion
Support the Loughborough site with the implementation of a new incident management system

2. Site training plan
Create site training plan each year
Plan in classroom training with trainers, in order to meet the plan
Issue e learning training and track through to completion
Create toolbox talk training programme and ensure material available to roll out
Monitor training completion and report back to EHS Manager

3. Site risk assessments
Identify risk assessments required for review and create schedule to complete
Track risk assessments to completion
Archive completed files for future reference

4. Management of site EHS Statistics
Ensure EHS statics are maintained up to date
Issue statistics in a timeframe required, weekly, monthly, quarterly

8. Occupational Health Campaigns
Create a plan to deliver 4 Occupational Health campaigns each year
Occupational health campaigns to be displayed on site noticeboards
Identify creative ways to engage people in these displays, eg competitions, giveaways etc

10. Other
Safety rep for office building at Charnwood Campus
Manage new starter EHS Induction documentation
Manage safe work permit documentation
Administration support EHS Team where required
Support EHS campaigns and liaise with external providers in order to deliver site plan
Support safety perception survey for the Loughborough site
Support EHS Team to implement safety improvements and manage own safety projects
Manage the site fit test programme - liaising with external provider

QUALIFICATIONS
*Safety qualifications not essential, but willingness to learn new skills where necessary
*Will require training on SAP and corporate tools
