A great opportunity as arisen for an experienced Editor to join an established and growing medical communications agency in Kent. Our client delivers exceptional healthcare communications and non-promotional medical education with a more personal, service orientated and ethical approach to medical communications.
*Completing each stage of the 'editorial life cycle' from quality checking the initial word version to signing off the final artwork version for print/upload.
*Copy editing, proofing and quality checking drafts written by the medical writers.
*Quality checking PowerPoint slides including transferring slides to a different template.
*Checking redrawn scientific, technical, medical figures, graphs and tables and providing feedback and amends as necessary.
*Training junior members of the CET in how to create and edit biographies.
*Strong educational background within life sciences (MSc or PhD)
*Passionate, enthusiastic with an acute eye for detail.
*2 ½ - 3 years' experience minimum.
*Medical communications agency experience
*Previous experience of training junior members (desirable)
