Our Client, a Leading Forensic Provider, is seeking an Ecommerce/Digital Devilry Manager to be based in West London on a permanent basis.

My client is seeking an Ecommerce / Digital Project Manager to embark on an exciting journey to develop a robust, enterprise grade ecommerce capability that will drive sales growth, assist business retention and enable efficiencies as the division scales.

Job Specifications

Projects:
-Responsible for the delivery of a managed portfolio of change projects/programmes for ecommerce and digital development that deliver tangible benefits to the division, meet security, quality, time and financial constraints.
-Produce and deliver against the above with supporting project plans and key milestones.
-Improve the team's capability in rapid application development and ensure the appropriate development methodology is employed on each project.
-Management of third party development teams.

Stakeholder Management:
-Engage with key business contacts to assist in shaping a suitable ecommerce and digital strategy to support the business.
-Build and maintain productive relationships with partners and suppliers in the ecommerce and digital arena.
-Work closely with the IT Architect to keep abreast of technology and trends in the web and digital arena.

General:
-Train, mentor and coach the Digital Development Team ensuring people development, staff and key skill retention and knowledge management.
-R&D and innovation: Proactively seek ways in which new technologies may add value to the business.
-Close effective collaboration and communication with peers and key business managers.
-Provide valuable and/or crucial expertise as an integral part of management decisions.
-Responsible for the effective operation of and adherence to, the IT change control process where it relates to digital and web development.

Essential Skills/Experience

-Significant experience (>3 years) managing web or digital developments
- Previous experience having worked in web development positions
-Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall approaches
-Proven track record in delivering medium to large scale web developments including the full development lifecycle from requirements to development to testing, implementation and benefits realisation
-Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to simplify complex technical information for a business customer
-Solid experience of working with business stakeholders to define a web/ecommerce strategy and the projects to deliver it
-Strong understanding of web and digital technologies
-Ability to write functional and technical specs, creating site maps and process flows
-Consistently demonstrate diplomacy, problem solving and decisiveness
-Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality
-Experience in successfully managing interactive/web project budgets and schedules
-Ability to pro-actively identify issues and risks and recommend appropriate solutions

Desirable Skills/Experience

-PRINCE2 foundation or practitioner
-Knowledge of Scrum
-Experience of developing solutions using ePages
-Good knowledge of MSOffice including Project and Visio
