BACKGROUND

Consumer Business Group (CBG), is investing to accelerate eCommerce growth across West Europe (WE) for 3 famous brands

This new role supports growth of Brands on customer websites across WE (incl Staples, Office Depot and Amazon). It involves strong collaboration with European Sales managers, Marcomms managers and the Digital Marketing eHub to develop and deploy integrated campaigns which build brands and drive sales.
Overall Mission of the Role

Close collaboration with European Key Account Managers responsible for the listing and promotion of products on customer eCommerce sites to identify the growth priorities based on an understanding brand marketing priorities, customer plan and customer website capabilities

Project managing agreed work streams to promote consistency, quality, visibility and sales of Brands on customer websites and set up deployment of demand generation marketing campaigns and other growth driving initiatives - by drawing on expertise and content from brand marketing colleagues and resources/processes/suppliers of the digital marketing eHub to replicate campaigns across country websites including the creation and translation of content into WE languages .

Leadership of growth initiatives which may also involve website audits, data analysis and reporting the results/ROI of initiatives and recommending opportunities for their optimisation.

ROLE OVERVIEW

·Work closely with European and local Key Account Teams to identify build and execute demand generation programmes on customer websites. Understand account website capabilities and limitations; propose changes or modifications to best achieve outcomes

·Work with sales and marketing teams to ensure best practice and processes are in place to improve presence on eCommerce websites e.g. for replication of successful eCommerce marketing campaigns across countries, robust plans for new content creation and new product listings, product page improvements, improvements to user experience and other best practices to reach eCommerce site entitlement.

·End to end project management of agreed work streams in support of sales and marketing teams

·Some direct customer contact is likely to be involved to deliver programmes. The extent will vary by project and customer and will initially be facilitated by the respective Key Account Manager.

·Diverse responsibilities, depending on the customer could include eCommerce site audits and optimisation plans related to new item setup, content maintenance, supporting rich content/video uploads, demand generation programmes (on-site merchandising, email, first-in-search, SEO content, ratings & reviews)

·Partner with WE Key Account teams and Trade Marketers to implement promotions and integrate marketing campaigns activity developed by Marketing teams on customer websites

·Reconcile duplicate product listings or obsolete product listings to scrub catalogue of items.

·Measure and report the effectiveness of merchandising campaigns executed on eCommerce accounts website (analytics work including page views, conversion rate, sales trends)



Experience:

·Digital marketing, including demand generation on customer eCommerce websites

·End to end project management (multiple projects)

·Experience analysing and applying data to make decisions on numerous concurrent eCommerce projects( (Record of making decisions and implementing changes)

·Some customer facing experience would be beneficial



Candidate Profile

·Passionate interest in developing their career in digital marketing, particularly the development of demand generation programmes on customer websites (note that this position is centred on delivering growth on multiple customer websites, not operational management of an eCommerce platform)

Qualifications:
