I'm currently partnering with a Global Financial Services client who are looking for a talented Developer to join their Manchester based Smart Technologies Development team. This is a great opportunity to join this leading Banking organisation during a period, where they're pioneering new technologies such as RPA, Machine Learning, OCR/ICR, ETL, Cognitive Computing and Autonomics. This means you will be working with some of the latest cutting edge innovative technology at the forefront of the industry and also help shape the direction of the team.
I'm looking to hear from people with a Software Development background, where you'll be able to utilise your skills to help my client create interesting products, from very large sets, of current, and historical documents, to building out new Robotic process automation solutions.
For this role you will need to be a creative thinker, who's well-grounded in Object Orientated Software Development and have an entrepreneurial mind-set focused on automation projects that will aim to mimic human interaction.
*Experience in Architecting a solution using multiple technologies
*Be able to apply Machine Learning to multi-sensor data including images
*Design, develop and test computer vision algorithms for applications
*Perform software design, coding, integration and testing
*Experience in computer vision, embedded systems, machine learning, mobile development, OCR - optical character recognition and ICR - Intelligent character recognition
*Have knowledge of computer science fundamentals, object orientated programming techniques and the SDLC.
