You identify the projects in progress and you consult with the business to define the analysis needs and the scope (in transversal domains such as punctuality, energy, Sales & Marketing, ...)
You draw the attention of the concerned parties in the projects on the legislation on privacy (GDPR) and help them with the choices of the data
You analyze data using specialized tooling, including R / Python, Microsoft (Azure ML), ...
You develop predictive models based on mathematical algorithms, you establish complex dashboards, ...
You translate the analyzes into understandable conclusions that will serve as a basis for the actions to be undertaken
You explain the results to the parties concerned in a suitable language; you define actions, formulate advice and report risks
You develop methodologies as part of a standardization of the approach and working methods
You are innovative and go proactively looking for new methods of analysis
You have a master's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, quantitative social sciences or related fields.
You have a passion for data and their added value in terms of sustainable business improvement, and you have a great interest in business processes, performance and data analysis.
Your have programming skills in R and/or Python.
You had already a first experience with the implementation of machine learning techniques.
Experience in application development and ETL (database creation, optimization, production of data flows, etc.) is a plus.
You are familiar with the techniques of integrating and / or enhancing traditional BI application architectures with HDFS or NOSQL or other big data technologies, where you process semi-structured and unstructured data.
Experience with Azure / Power BI is an asset.
You are Dutch-speaking or French-speaking with a good knowledge of English.
You have team spirit and you know how to work independently.
