Job Description

CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISER (TECHNICAL) - £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus

A global leading provider of pressure, temperature and measurement technology are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Adviser to join their friendly team based in Red hill.

This is a static based office role and you will be responsible for a range of clients and providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Ensuring you are meeting organisational standards, objectives and targets
· Respond to customer queries accordingly maintaining a professional manner
· Provide excellent customer service and react quickly and efficiently resolving issues
· Work as part of a milt-disciplinary team to retain all current business and win new business
· Be involved in the full sales life cycle which will consist of co-ordination activity, work with the customer service representative to ensure orders are processed correctly and ensure agreed time frames are met
· Ensure enquiry to quote time is according to area, division & company dashboard targets
· Follow up on quotations and log details on the company system
· Monitor buying and selling prices to maximise gross margins and achieve the maximum
selling price, updating records as necessary
· Investigate customer claims, complaints and facilitate satisfactory resolution
· Contribute to continuous improvement processes including Kazan activities
· Use the company computer systems to keep clear, concise records
· Work alongside the Internal Sales Manager on projects and assignments where appropriate

Experience:

· Technically astute with experience of working in a technical industry
· Worked in a sales environment
· Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
· Competent with the use of Microsoft Office programmes
