Our client, based in Chippenham, Wilts, has the exciting opportunity for someone with experience of any Configuration/Release/Change/Incident type Analyst or Administration work, or may even consider a Graduate keen to get into IT with a relevant education background. The role will ensure Configuration Management is applied and maintained in line with the ITIL Framework and ISO20K.

This role involves both process and resource management skills and will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to process, SLA compliance and identifying improvements that will be addressed.

In essence, this role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Configuration Items (CI's) & processes around a Configuration Management Database per Customer.

ITIL Foundation Certificate is desirable but can be put through the process if not. Soft skills are important, anyone who has worked within a Change/ Release/ Incident type role or a graduate looking for the right opportunity

OFFICIAL SPEC (please don not worry if do not have all the skills and experiences listed)

·Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience of administering and delivering Configuration Management control within a 24*7 mission critical environment Or Minimum of 2 years experience in other Service Management Functions with exposure to and/or training in Configuration Management.
·Good understanding of the lifecycle of assets (procurement to disposal)
·Experience with service management toolsets.
·Good understanding of all Service disciplines - e.g. Change, Incident, Problem, Release etc.
·Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Able to analyse, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets.
·Ability to write, review and accurately follow work instructions and procedures.
·Proficient in the use of MS Office products.
·Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
