We are looking for an experienced and high achieving Business Development Director to play a key role in our growth plan, must have a track record of success in the Healthcare Data space. Working closely with the senior management team, the Business Development Director will develop and execute against a personal sales plan which will enable them to achieve agreed sales targets.

Our client is a global leader in Patient and Healthcare Professional (HCP) communication through automated Digital Messaging and effective Patient Engagement at Point of Care. The company has an unparalleled Pharmacy Network, over 400 million patients worldwide at Point of Dispensing.

The company's mission is to optimise patient care and drive improvement in health outcomes by providing pharma companies with a range of important services and products including: Patient Support Programs to improve medication adherence/compliance; Patient Recruitment to programs or studies; conduct of Patient Surveys at Point of Care to support Real World Evidence on usage of prescription medicines.


As a Business Development Director your responsibilities will be:
*To manage all aspects of the sales life-cycle;
*Generate leads and fully explore all potential opportunities for new business;
*Undertake frequent travel throughout Europe to build close customer relationships;
*Effective communication with specialist knowledge of the company's products and services;
*Deliver compelling sales presentations, both remotely and face to face;
*Gain an excellent understanding of client requirements and tailor proposals and pitches to win the business;
*Open new accounts as well as grow and develop existing accounts;
*Attend exhibitions, workshops and other meetings to expand the network of customers and build the company profile;
*Manage sales prospects on a customer database;
*Provide market and competitor intelligence to support product innovation.
Our Candidate must have:
*Extensive sales experience selling into the Pharmaceutical sector, particularly data;
*Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets on a sustained basis;
*High energy with drive and determination to identify, win and close new business opportunities;
*Enthusiastic "can do" attitude with a passion to succeed;
*Team orientated but happy and comfortable to work alone;
*Impeccable English language skills;
*Ability to speak and write in another European language is an advantage;
*Degree educated or equivalent, a science or mathematical subject would be an advantage.
