Job Description


A market leading payments company based in Hertfordshire / North West London requires a Business Analyst with good experience with Software Product Development experience within Agile.

The client is going through massive growth within this area of the business relating to new products and services so you will have a product centric bias within Software Development. They require an analytically driven and curious thinker, someone who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.


* You will perform the elicitation and analysis of business change, functional and non-functional requirements across a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, as well as own and produce relevant analysis artefacts and documentation from Business Architecture through to Business and Functional Requirements and logical models
* You will take ownership of analysis tasks, timescales and approach and support the project manager and team in the management of the schedule, risks and budget. Collaborating
across Business, CTO and Development roles as part of a team to deliver change for our
customers will be key, providing end-to-end project involvement from concept through to
* Working with the Architecture Group, it will be your duty to ensure that solutions are
appropriate and stakeholders needs are met and are aligned with Business and Enterprise
* Through collaboration, traceability and review you will ensure that requirements are
successfully designed and subsequently tested and provide the evaluation of current products
and services against proposed changes and product investments


* Good knowledge of Software Product Development
* Good experience of working in an Agile methodology
* Experience within Financial Services, ideally Payments.
* We are looking for someone who is an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
* Good understanding and proven experience in using structured analysis techniques and the ability to evaluate and plan approaches on projects, you will have excellent communication skills and able to communicate both written and verbally to internal stakeholders and external clients
* You should be confident in requirements elicitation, be able to facilitate cross functional conversations and workshops and be able to use a variety of analysis techniques to model, refine and communicate requirements and the behaviour of business systems
* You will have experience of software delivery lifecycle approach, both waterfall and agile and be comfortable working in teams and willing and able to mentor more junior members
* You will have familiarity with CASE tools and use of Visio / MS Office
