He will be responsible for the planning, delivery, management and coordination of all permitting efforts on assigned projects and programs in accordance with the client's processes and expectations, and to perform other duties assigned by management.
The permit coordinator should be knowledgeable of or able to investigate and determine building and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Handle all aspects of the permitting process for engineering and construction projects to include: submitting and tracking construction drawings and permit application packages, monitor the permit approval process, provide updates to internal staff, meet deadlines.
Lead efforts at public hearings and regulatory review meetings with local and regional planning.
Lead communications and work scope with local, regional and federal authority for project permit and regulatory reviews and approvals.
Perform municipal research, update filing requirements for projects in various jurisdictions and maintain a data base of critical jurisdictional decision makers.
Demonstrate a familiarity with local codes and ordinances.
Notify internal staff of problems encountered and remedies given.
Assist in development of standards for all areas of responsibility.
Coordinate with other managers and consultants on project to ensure quality performance.
5+ years of telecommunications industry experience required.
2+ years of experience with permit coordination, project management or equivalent relevant experience while working for a mobile operator.
Knowledge of Real Estate fundamentals required.

Ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, regulatory representatives and town/city hall officials in a positive collaborative manner.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Supports and complies with the division's quality management system and environmental, safety, health and security program.
