1.Prepare timely and professional customer proposals and quotations for non-routine and project business, considering price and delivery, contract terms and conditions and general compliance with customer requirements.
2.Ensure on-going compliance with contractual conditions, initiating and implementing order amendments as required, for example to incorporate additional charges for changes in scope.
3.Ensure contracts entered into by the Company can be satisfied within acceptable profitability and risk levels and that Company sign-off policy is strictly adhered to.
4.Liaise with customers on bid and contract management matters, providing timely updates on progress as required. Act as the prime point of contact for contract amendments for assigned customers.
5.Maintain a proposals, quotations and contracts log up to the point where a sales order has been acknowledged. Maintain a log of post contract review and amendments.
6.Liaise with other Company departments and personnel to ensure alignment of activities and communication.
Competence (Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience, Skills)
1.Minimum 5 years costing and bid management experience, ideally gained in a technical and manufacturing business.
2.Ability to develop an understanding of the Company's markets, core technologies and products.
3.Ability to manage multiple contracts at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
4.Ability to communicate and build effective relationships.
5.Good organisational skills and the ability to work to agreed timescales.
