They are looking for an all rounder with at least 6 years experience but not someone looking to get into management accounting.
To ensure that the information on the general ledger for UK and the branches is accurate and performed in a timely manner, and to support other members of the team.
Current UK branches:
Responsibilities also include those areas where we have employees without branch set-ups
·Reconciliation of Branch Bank accounts.
·Assists with month end activities.
·Process the accounting of all UK Branches, including journal entries and reconciliation to balance sheet.
·Process all cross-entity recharges
·Process Inter-company invoices and monthly reconciliations.
·Process MDF including credit notes.
·Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayments.
·Reconciliation of UK weekly multicurrency Bank reconciliations as required.
·Cover EMEA cash reporting as required.
·Cover EMEA staff expenses as required.
·Keep fixed assets register up to date and correctly apply depreciation.
·Process payments as required including funding of Branch Bank accounts.
·Prepares and records journal entries.
·Accounts procedure maintenance both in local branches and the UK
·Lease and Rental reporting where required
·Ad-hoc reconciliations and analysis from Manager
Travel to branches at least once per annum
·At least 6 years' of related experience
·Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures
·Knowledge of Oracle & SAP strongly preferred
·Intermediate skills in Excel and Word
·Confident self starter
·Requires good communication and organisation skills
·Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work with minimal supervision
·Flexibility to undertake all required tasks
·Good team player and able to work autonomously
