Job Description

IT Application Support Specialist
My client is looking for an IT Application Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing 2nd line support services for all business application systems to maintain their availability, resilience and functionality.

You will have:
- Extensive experience of implementing and upgrading major business applications
- To have experience working to ITIL standards ensuring consistent quality of service delivery
- To have experience of system administration

You will also have the following responsibilities and these will develop as the job progresses but the following are key areas of the job role:
To support the continual evaluation of technologies that will improve the IT provision, advising and recommending on strategic changes.
To support the process to proactivley manage the resolution of complex incidents and problems escalated by supporting IT teams using industry standard ITIL processes.
To lead the technical operation of production services within the area of remit including capacity planning, security, DR third party supplier relationships and service levels.

Any knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Azure, Sevice Bus would be benficial, however you will recieve full training in these if required.

This role has a salary of between £33,000 and £38,500 + a great benefits package
