Application Support Analyst - Application Testing

The Application Support Analyst will provide high-tech software solutions to the Utility and Telecommunications industries, you will deliver effective first and second line technical support on the full Asset Management Geospatial, in-house product suite, and mobile solutions. You will be required to establish over time a strong and trusted customer relationship, representing the organisations support capability across customers full lifecycle engagement. Leading the delivery of critical support services as part of the support team, providing dedicated key customer solution support ownership across key customer accounts. You will be engaging with project teams to secure successful handover into support, to champion customer success quality and agreed support handover acceptance criteria coordination of subject matter expertise across multiple teams to deliver successful and stable support operations, during the project phase and into stable operational support.

This Application Support Analyst will be the first person to review applications for customers in order to pre emp issues/faults that the customer may have, this will be pre-product release. You will need technical skills in either Java or .Net, you will need to deal with technical issues like de bugging etc. Case management & technical analysis of complex customer solution and product issues.

Key skills & responsibilities:

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math's)
*Demonstrable professional experience in the Utility or Telecoms domain
* Technical Leadership
*1st /2nd line Application Support
*Demonstrable experience leading and influencing multi-disciplinary teams
*Identify and coordinate resources necessary to solve issues, escalating and coordinating multiple teams of expertise where required to ensure SLA's are met.
* Experience with Java or .Net technologies
*Excellent customer facing skills, managing interactions to establish credibility and trust
*Able to develop and execute against a delivery plan.
