Job Description

Application Support Analyst
My client are looking for an Application Support Analyst to undertake appropriate application maintenance, support and incident management processes.
To support and liaise with users and application vendors in order to problem solve, advise and train users, so as to ensure efficient and best practice use of the supported applications.

The main skills required for the role include:
*To have experience of Microsoft Dynamics and Office 365
*Detailed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
*To have worked within an ITIL environment

You will have the following responsibilities and these will develop as the job progresses but the following are key areas of the job role:
Ensuring the systems are deployed and maintained in a manner that maximises efficiency and best practice.
Work closely with the Helpdesk staff to provide expertise in resolving application based issues and liaise with third party application vendors where escalation is required.
Provide expert advice and consultancy to all application users and support project team activities.
Provide training through documentation and workshops to users. Off-site training will be required where necessary.
To liaise with internal or external technical support staff to ensure that the technical infrastructure is appropriate to the application needs.
