Job Description

The Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse Advisor experienced within Infusion Medicine and Anaemia to join an established and successful family owned pharmaceutical company. This will be a field based role covering the whole of the South of England therefore extensive travel will be required.
In the role you will be required to develop strong relationships with nurses and nursing groups involved in the treatment of iron deficiency to ensure understanding of patient needs and the needs of the health care systems.

Responsibilities
*Provide internal training to nursing, sales and marketing teams.
*Plan and organise non-promotional workshops educating fellow nurses on iron deficiency anaemia and appropriate administration of IV iron products.
*Identify, train and coordinate a group of external Nurse Experts trainers in target therapeutic areas.
*Lead and organise Nurse Advisory Boards.
*Ensure internal SOPs and processes are followed including those around pharmacovigilance and company standards regarding the reporting and quality monitoring of activities.
*Consistently identify improvements within the treatment and establish evidence whilst improving current clinical practices and improving the treatment of iron deficiency.

The candidate
*Qualified, registered nurse (RGN or equivalent).
*Nurse band: 5 or higher with a good understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice.
*Good working knowledge of infusion medicine.
*Knowledge of nephrology, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, patient blood management, surgical enhanced recovery or haematology.
*Previous experience working for a pharmaceutical company essential.
*Strong drive and self-motivation to help establish and improve best proactive in iron deficiency care.
*Flexible.
