Job Description

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join a company where they can create new opportunities in the general retail market with company retail services, products and solutions, into existing customer base, generate sales of new projects, software and services.
To continue to manage service contract business with account and customer management

Role includes:
1.Assisting with the marketing strategy, including exhibitions, PR and trade advertising.
2.Reviewing products and market focus including research into demographics and competitors and a key understanding of how products will fit with the business model.
3.Implementing a clear strategy into each of the key accounts allocated
4.To engage with customers to fully understand their requirements/expectations and to be able to communicate these to the internal technical team.
5.To participate in high level discussions, both internal and external, so that market offering can be improved and evolved to provide a platform for sustainable competitive advantage.
6.Be able to network and develop key relationship both internally and externally.
7.To act as a product leader within the company
8.Prepare, review and distribute reports, feedback analysis and other marketing date to relevant key personnel. Conduct market research on a regular basis by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.

1.Experience in the service station/fuel, convenience sector
2.Understanding of the epos in the fuel and convenience sector
3.Understanding of key stake holders in the fuel sector from a UK and global stance
4.Knowledge of loyalty solutions
5.Understanding of card payments solution be that app or hardware solutions
6.Experience in selling to tier 1 & 2 business at multi-levels
7.Show strong presentation skills at all levels
8.Ability to understand customer business needs to provide value add contribution to the customers team and business, becoming a trusted adviser
9.Strong negotiating skills, understanding how to counter argue a rejection in a positive message
10.Ability to manage a single account with long sales cycles
11.Willingness to travel UK and global when called upon
