Our global client, based in Macclesfield, is seeking a 1st Line Support to work on a permanent basis.
·Providing Telephone, email and remote support as part of the Global Service Delivery Team
·Use an ITSM tool to ensure all queries are tracked and resolved in a timely manner
·Effective communication with users to ensure full details are gathered on the nature of any service desk calls raised to ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to it including 3 rd party vendors
·Procurement, installation and maintenance of IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers and other IT peripherals
·Support of Microsoft Windows, Office, Active Directory, Exchange and mobile devices
·Support of all hardware including that within conference rooms i.e. TV's and AV equipment
·Drive the business forward by looking for new technology and improved efficiencies to increase the efficiency of the Service Delivery team.
Knowledge and Skills:
·An understanding of ITIL and a focus on continual service improvement (CSI)
·A logical process driven mind who looks at the bigger picture when troubleshooting issues
·Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 experience in an enterprise organisation.
·Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP knowledge
·Flexibility to travel when required
·The ability to alone, but also across IT and across the company business units
·Knowledge in Apple OSX environment
·Previous experience in a support service desk environment
